Camp established to provide counseling and support to pregnant women

Peace, a local organization working with UNICEF, recently established a camp in Amankot to provide counseling, pre and post-natal care to women. Interviews with Peace health workers highlight the fact that many women are unaware of proper diet and health concerns during pregnancy. In addition, Peace provides each women in the camp with tablets, a delivery kit, a newborn kit and mosquito nets.
