Live stock is suffering from infections in a village in district Khairpur
Locals of village Yar Mohammad Khan district Khairpur complain that after recent rains due to stagnant water and mosquitoes their live stock is suffering from various infectious. District Officer Live stock says, “Teams of livestock are working in all UCs of Taluka Thari Mir wah. We are vaccinating live stock for foot and mouth among big animals and Incuro Toxemia for small animals”.
An interview with Deputy Director Livestock department
In an interview Dr. Rasheed Nizmani Deputy Director live stock sindh explains about the efforts of live stock department he says, “Live stock department is currently supplying forage and treating and vaccinating animals through mobile units all over sindh. Moreover he explained that, “People must arrange forage and vaccinate their live stock, animals should be kept on higher and dry ground”.
After rains lands are farmed on large scale in village Suleiman Lund
Current Rains on one hand caused massive destruction in sindh but on the other hand it became a blessing for barren area of village Suleiman Lund district Dadu. Farmers of this village are happy they say, “We were unable to cultivate lands due to shortage of water but after recent rains able to farm our lands”. Moreover they request for construction of embankments around their lands.
Recent rain fall becomes a blessing for farmers in kacha District Dadu
Farmers of district Dadu are happy after recent rain fall in Sindh. Recent rains have caused chances of large scale farming but farmers don’t have money to buy seeds. Agriculture District Officer Dadu says, “We will provide wheat seeds for farming in Rabi season. For barley farming in kacha variety of seed is available in case we supply this variety to them barley crop won’t be that good in kacha”.
Agricultural loss in village Palejani district Matyari
Farmers of village Palejani district Matyari complain that recent rain fall has caused massive damage to agriculture sector. All crops have been damaged especially onion crop. Whereas Administration Officer District Matyari says, “Loss caused in agriculture sector is in trillions, I don’t think government will be able to provide relief. There is no such relief package announced yet”.
