Recent rain fall becomes a blessing for farmers in kacha District Dadu
Farmers of district Dadu are happy after recent rain fall in Sindh. Recent rains have caused chances of large scale farming but farmers don’t have money to buy seeds. Agriculture District Officer Dadu says, “We will provide wheat seeds for farming in Rabi season. For barley farming in kacha variety of seed is available in case we supply this variety to them barley crop won’t be that good in kacha”.
Malaria spreads in rain affected areas of district Sanghar
Locals of village misery khan gopang complain that children are suffering from malaria in their area. Regarding this Dr. Zufiqar Ali Darejo explains, “If someone is suffering from fever he should go for malaria test in case test is positive, he should take malaria treatment”. Whereas vice president of labor education foundation says, “We have distributed mosquito nets for children to remain safe from malaria”.
“TLCs” for children in colony Umer Kot
“UNICEF” and a local organization “Sami foundation” have established TLCs for children in Umer kot. Assistant program Officer Sami foundation says, “Children are given trainings for mental and physical growth”. Whereas District coordinator education UNICEF says, “We have engaged children into recreational and educational activities so they can recover from post traumatic mental disorders”.
An Interview with Assistant director provincial archaeological department of Sindh over archaeological sites
In an interview Assistant director provincial archaeological department Sindh tells about the present condition of archaeological sites damaged by recent rains. He says, “UNESCO is working in Moen Jo daro and Rani Kot, rest of sights are covered by us. Executive secretary is working on survey of damage all over sindh”. He also said that “We have appointed guards to make sure that no one can steal anything”.

In this story: Mohammad URs local of village Ali Mohammad Ghumro district Badin was a farmer, after flash flooding in Sindh he is unable to farm land for living. Now he is catching fish to feed his family. He says, “After flood fish has increased in water but I am unable to catch much of it due to huge amount of water; if I get good fish I sale it in other case I consume it”.
