Rainfall becomes beneficial for cotton, sugarcane and fodder
During an interview Deputy District officer Agriculture Tehsil Jatoi tells about the present condition of agriculture sector in his area. He says, “Rainfall has facilitated growth of cotton crop, sugarcane and Fodder (chara) for animals, rain water has fulfilled the requirement of urea for these crops. After rain moisture has occurred due to which pests are attacking these crops. He further tells about the proper usage of spray.

He explains, “A large number of families were given seed and fertilizer, medicine for their live stock and 10000 rupees. Shelter and vaccination facility was given to people and animals also. FAO has a contingency planning in case of possible flood”.
