He says, “Rainfall has facilitated growth of cotton crop, sugarcane and Fodder (chara) for animals, rain water has fulfilled the requirement of urea for these crops. After rain moisture has occurred due to which pests are attacking these crops. He further tells about the proper usage of spray.

Residents of district Tonsa Sharif complain that they are having many problems due to pure water shortage. Many people are suffering from various infections such as typhoid, diarrhea and hepatitis. “Qatar Charity” is providing pure water facilities in flood affected areas. Social Organizer of this organization says, “Hand pumps have been inserted in about 4 UC’s of DG Khan, application has been given for approval, work will be started as soon as it is approved”.

FAO has a contingency planning in case of possible flood”.
