Voices raised through program Naun Jiaypo are effective for both people and organizations
CRSS has played its role by presenting program Nao Jiaypo which is broadcasted by Radio Pakistan on FM radio stations. People have gained a lot of knowledge about health issues, nutrition etc from early recovery phase to current projects in affected areas of Sindh. Officials of organizations say, “We came to know many things through program Nao Jiaypo and other radio and media channels about Idps, their location and problems”.

Children are both physically and mentally upset after flood
After last year flood there is a big loss in almost every field. Flood affected children have become both mentally and physically weak. They recall the good time before flood. Education specialist says, “There are lack of facilities especially schools in flood affected areas of Sindh due to which children are suffering from lack of nutrition, all these problems must be solved. Discussions regarding damages of flood must not be done in front of children”.

Interview of Suhail Memon about events of disaster in district Badin.
During an interview Suhail Memon tells about the present condition of Badin which is affected due to flash flooding and heavy rains. He says, “There is water on both sides of the road and it is not draining out, people in this area are suffering from various infections and snake bites. There is food and clean water shortage. There are no medical facilities”. He adds, “If these people are not provided food and medical aid there will be plague”.

“NRSP” is providing free medical treatment and awareness about Nutrition in Dera Ghazi Khan
Residents of Dera Ghazi Khan complain that after flood their children have lack of nutrition. A nongovernmental organization “NRSP” is providing free medical treatment nutritive food to children and pregnant women. In charge NRSP says, “Social mobilizes are providing awareness about health and nutrition especially to pregnant women.

Flood victims are suffering from various infections due to contaminated water
Residents of UC Basera Layyah complain that a large number of children are suffering from eye infections, diarrhea and several stomach diseases due to contaminated water. Research officer water testing laboratory Layyah says, “UNICEF has given water tanks with chlorination in different areas. Nongovernmental organizations cannot provide pure water to all houses due to lack of facilities. People must boil water before drinking”.
