Welcome

Information during a humanitarian crisis is life-saving and life-building. That is why the Humanitarian Information Project is working with local reporters in Sindh and Punjab to produce informative radio programs for the people affected by the devastating floods.

HIP radio programs are broadcasting information about how people’s lives are affected by the floods and conflict, and the humanitarian community’s efforts to provide relief and help rebuild.

The informative programs cover what kind of aid and assistance is available and how to access it, health matters such as nutrition, hygiene and mother/child health, child safety and vulnerable communities, education issues, agriculture and livelihood development. HIP works with the humanitarian community to ensure important information is broadcast, and also includes the voices of people affected by crisis through reports, stories, interviews and call-in.

The latest programs and reports can be heard here. If you have any information you think needs to be shared, please contact us by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
